Party, Christening or Shower Invitations
Because these usually consist of a single card + envelope, 3 weeks before you would like to have your invitations in hand is a good estimate, schedule permitting. If you are ordering online, please add 2-4 days to your delivery time for shipping.
Save the Dates - Wedding
Because Save the date cards are a single card plus envelopes, orders are done within two weeks. Most are done sooner (within 4 days) but can vary during different seasons. Please contact us for our current schedule or begin an order by phone, online, or send us an email.
Save the Dates - Wedding (mailing)
For destination weddings, a general guideline is to mail your save the dates 8 to 12 months in advance. This would allow sufficient time for your guests to plan and book accommodations (air/flight/car/other).
For a local wedding or event, save the dates can be mailed 4 to 6 months in advance.
Follow your Wedding Save the dates with formal invitations 8 weeks before your special day.
Save the Dates - Quinceañera
For Quinceañera / birthday events, the guidelines above will apply. Sending out save the dates with a minimum of 6 months beforehand will not only alert your guests as to the theme/type of event your special day will be but it will also help prospective chambelanes / damas time to plan their out-of-pocket attire expenses (if applicable).
This is especially true, and especially helpful & respectful, for any prospective Padrinos / Sponsors to plan if they will be helping with any Quinceañera expenses. Always remember: Having Padrinos/Sponsors is nice but is not required and definitely not an obligation.
Follow your Quinceañera Save the dates with your formal invitations 6-8 weeks before your special day.
Wedding Invitations
We recommend ordering as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed. If you have meal options, consult with your caterer/planner to find out a-when the caterer needs to know your guest count. Most order 3-8 months before you would like to have your invitations in hand. We are quick to produce and most orders take 2-4 weeks to from beginning to completion. Longer times can be expected during our wedding season (January through September), for orders that have more than 3 cards and/or require a specialty printing process. View detailed information here.
Ceremony Items
This includes reception menus, ceremony programs (folded, fan and stacked), escort / place cards. Ordering these 1-4 weeks before you need your ceremony items or as soon as you have most of your rsvps returned. We leave room in our schedule to accommodate those who ordered their invitations with us so if you are returning, we thank you.
Additional Items such as Thank you cards, Door Hangers, Labels, Etc.
All other items such as door hangers, thank you cards, table numbers, favor / other tags, etc. will have a shorter turnaround time and are usually sent in 7 business days from the time of your proof approval (if applicable).
Everything we do is based off of our current turnaround times, customers already in queue, quantity, number of components and how complex your order is. What you see is our general guideline and depends on you. We also recommend contacting us for current turnarounds during our busy months of January - October.
